Portrait of Susan Allison Taylor-Lalisse, soft lit with warm tones

Susan Allison Taylor-Lalisse was born in Toronto, Canada, and raised in Yorkshire, England, where she spent the first twenty seven years of her life.

Following the end of her second marriage, Susan and her two young sons survived repeated attempts on their lives by her estranged, gun-wielding ex-husband. She made the decision to flee across the world, back to Canada, to rebuild as a single parent and secure her sons' Canadian citizenship through parentage.

The years that followed brought a steep culture shock, along with a personal reckoning with Bipolar disorder, PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder), and Borderline Personality Disorder, conditions that at times made even ordinary tasks feel insurmountable.

Susan's path eventually led her into the adult entertainment industry, where she built a career from the ground up, working her way to becoming a high class escort. Wanting to change the industry for the better, she went on to open her own legal, tax paying escort agency, one built around genuine companionship and connection, not only intimacy. Along the way she came to understand that clients often needed a companion for an evening out, a dinner date, or simply someone to spend time with, as much as anything else.

“Guns, Drugs & Prostitution” is Susan's first published book: an unflinching memoir of survival, reinvention, and the improbable turns a single life can take.
